Jon Hughes

Inducted 1987

The co-owner of Track Shack and EMMI, Jon now produces more than 40 running and walking events annually, including the Walt Disney World Marathon. He began running in high school and ran at Winter Park High, Seminole Community College, and Appalachian State University. He has since completed 12 marathons, including Boston, Berlin, Chicago and Marine Corps. Since the 1970’s, Jon has been recognized for his outstanding leadership by the Florida Athletics Congress, the Pan American Junior Games, the Governor of Florida, and the Grand Bahamas Promotions Board.
